Victor Sir
When I’m captivated to paint a portrait, I’m not aware of what I’m doing. It’s only after it is done, I analyze the colours I have chosen, the brushes that I have used and the paints that I have mixed.
As an artist, it still amazes me to find myself as a spectator behind the brush as I watch the magical transformation on the other end, just like the way this painting transformed from a simple pencil sketch to one of the finest portraits that I have ever done, which I completed in a time span of 33 days.
He was a well known prominent personality associated with Special Olympics and I have admired and respected him for his great work and dedication to the program. So I decided to try portraiture of him and thought I had to do a lot of alteration to the attire before I could successfully end up with this grey shirt.
Though the painting was done on a smaller board the detailing was immense and I enjoyed painting him.
